Short. Sweet. Sunday Sewing.
One of the things I regret is not having patience when it comes to teaching my children things. Thank God my mom does. My daughter is 12 now(where did the time go?) She sat with my mom today and learned about using her sewing machine. She(my daughter) has had the machine for a few years now. I tried to show her how to use it, but lacked the patience. I regret that. However, I’d regret it more if she wound up hating something because I made the experience not enjoyable for her.
So, today, with Grandma she made a small pillow. It turned out very well for a first attempt.
Two of my favorite people in the entire world working together. The sewing torch being passed to another generation. I hope my daughter keeps up with it, and I will do all I can to encourage her.
