A musical response

I couldn’t find the right video. Isn’t that always the way? it’s there until you actually need it. Jimmies Post started me thinking about how much music today sucks. The record labels(are they still called record labels?) started deciding what music was, and what music we could listen to. They took over the airwaves, silently and jot so silently buying up local radio stations.(This is speculation on my part). Along with that, corporations also bought out local stations and made them into mega-stations. Like Westwood 1 as one example. They don’t even use real dj’s in many markets. Everything is done by automation.A tech may be called into a remote station if there is a problem, otherwise it’s all done by computer.

They decide who will be the next star, who will get air time and pretty much everything else. Ok, so I went off on a tangent. my point is, we need real music agaiun and not that packaged, soulless crap they play today. Sure I have my ipod and internet stations. But, for how long?

So, here is my music answer to Jimmie

Enjoy.

Seeee, now thats what I’m talking about.. I love the older music, the older radio stations pretty much the older everything.. Now so much of music is done by computers, that most newer artists could NEVER sing or play acoustically, they’d blow our eardrums out..
