I suppose a birthday blog post should be posted on my actual birthday. I used to know the time of day I was born,etc. Honestly, unless you’re into astrology, does it really matter? You’re here right? Awesome, that is all that counts.

Ok, so I’ve made roughly 42 trips around the sun. I say roughly because it hasn’t made the full cycle yet.

We take 365 days to go around the sun. I was born not quite at the end of that cycle.

I wanted to write this earlier,but wasn’t sure what path to take with it. I will not get all maudlin and lament on things I missed out on. There are tons of things I wish I had done, and never did. I want to thank my wife for a great year. I will talk about my kids and how lucky I am. I also want to thank my wife for a great year. Everyone says they have the best kids. That may be true. I wouldn’t dream of asking for others.My son is the do anything for you kind of kid. He has a great sense of humor and a tender heart(much like his dad). My daughter is much the same way. She made me a drawing last night. To me, it’s gallery worthy. Others may not see it that way, they would be wrong.It can be seen here:

I am also awed by my twitter friends as well as people on facebook. Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. And Chris, thanks man, even if wishing me a happy birthday made you feel gay lol.
